Climate Awareness for High School Students

A continuing school programme taking climate science, impacts and solutions directly into high school classrooms across Gopalganj.

Climate Awareness for High School Students

The Inspiration for Human Welfare (IHW) team has been continuously organizing the "Climate Awareness for High School Students" program in different schools to raise awareness among young people about climate change and encourage them to take action for a safer and more sustainable future.

As part of this ongoing initiative, IHW successfully organized climate awareness programs at Wahab Adarsha High School, Gopalganj; Swarnakali High School; and Binapani Government High School. Through these school-based programs, our organization has been working to engage students in understanding the causes, impacts, and possible solutions to climate change.

During the sessions, we discussed:

  • What is climate change?
  • Causes of climate change
  • Impacts of climate change in Bangladesh and around the world
  • Ways to prevent and reduce the effects of climate change
  • The role of students and young people in creating climate awareness

Through these discussions and interactive activities, students were inspired to adopt environmentally responsible practices, take action to help prevent climate change, and spread awareness among their families, friends, and communities.

The initiative is an ongoing project of Inspiration for Human Welfare, with the aim of reaching more schools and empowering students to become active participants in climate action and environmental protection.
